Qualifications & Experience:
Grade 12 Matriculation (Requirement) NDip or bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field (Requirement) 5+ years’ experience in a similar role and industry. Proficiency in CAD software for schematic design Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEEE) Adaptability to changing priorities and project requirements Exceptional time-management and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Responsibilities will include:
Electrical and instrumentation engineering and design reticulation pertaining to process plants according to project specifications. Create Schematics, diagrams, and technical documentation for electrical systems. Estimating, selecting, and procuring equipment and material as per project and client requirements and specifications. Inspecting and, testing and verifying all electrical equipment confirms to the approved design documentation. Commissioning electrical and instrumentation systems according to project-based control and commissioning procedures to ensure system integration and correct functionality. Collaborate with construction teams and contractors to ensure proper installation and integration of electrical components.
