Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Assembly, Integration & Test Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling spacecraft hardware, performing soldering and PCB inspections, building harnesses, testing components and assemblies, and following spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about space systems, enjoy working as part of a close-knit team, and have a desire to continuously learn and improve.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble spacecraft hardware and perform soldering and PCB inspections.Build harnesses and wire connectors.Test components and assemblies.Follow spacecraft through environmental testing campaigns.Operate torque wrenches and similar tools to product specifications.Document the assembly process as components are built.Install project-specific sensors such as thermistors and accelerometers.Troubleshoot and diagnose hardware problems in collaboration with engineers.Support propulsion module and spacecraft testing.Essential SkillsAbility to read and follow drawings and written instructions.10 years of experience with soldering, crimping, and harness builds.Experience with electronics testing and board repair.Good written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency with CAD software, soldering, and harness fabrication.Experience with hand tools and operating torque wrenches.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Visio, Excel, and/or CAD drawing software.Experience with fabrication and test processes.Experience with non-conformance resolution.NASA certifications for soldering, crimping, and harnesses.Experience with vacuum chambers.Good time-management skills.Work Environment
This role is based in a cleanroom environment. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb a 13-foot ladder. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
