Job Title: Electrical Assembler
Job Description

At our Hudson site, we build and assemble industrial shredders used to dispose of hard drives containing sensitive information. The assembly process is 85% mechanical and 15% electrical. We currently have a strong team for mechanical assembly but need someone who can handle the electrical components as well. You will be working in a team of three individuals, including the supervisor, focusing on point-to-point wiring of electrical components for our products.

ResponsibilitiesPerform point-to-point wiring of electrical components.Conduct soldering, crimping, and stripping tasks.Utilize multimeters and calipers for precise measurements.Conduct electrical testing to ensure functionality.Follow detailed work instructions that include pictures.Collaborate with team members to ensure assembly accuracy.Essential SkillsPrior electrical assembly experience.Recent soldering experience.Experience with point-to-point wiring.Ability to differentiate between standard and metric measurements.Capability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with higher voltages is a plus.Strong electrical skills are preferred over mechanical, as mechanical training is easier.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment is a temperature-controlled, fully indoor, and clean production floor. This is a first-shift position with flexible hours: you can choose to work from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Consistency in your chosen schedule is required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hudson, Massachusetts.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00
