Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** The Electrical Assembler is responsible for assembling electrical systems and components in accordance with engineering schematics and specifications. You will be required to assemble the electrical components and control devices to heavy subassembly units based off the electrical drawings, schematics, and diagrams. Tasks include wiring of circuits, outlets, and switches, and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet the tolerance of the product. You will need to know how to operate basic tools (drills, impacts, and grinders) from day one. At times, you may work alone and other times with a group of other assemblers. You will also operate material handling devices and lifts, including pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and mobile floor cranes. The role involves fitting, testing, and calibrating parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. **Hard Skills** + 2+ years' assembling LARGE electrical systems + Reading and interpreting engineering schematics and specifications + Wiring circuits, outlets, and switches + Calibrating parts and mechanisms + Operating basic tools (drills, impacts, grinders) + Operating material handling devices and lifts (pallet jacks, scissor lifts, mobile floor cranes) + Assembly work on skids **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in North East Houston, Texas. **Work Environment** Production environment with exposure to loud noise, moving machinery, and other hazards. Frequent lifting and moving of objects between 10 - 50 pounds. Safety protocols must be followed at all times.
