Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Pay** : $20-$24 **Job Description** - 3 to 5 years of experience in at least one of the following areas to qualify for the Assembler/Tester 3 position: - Assembly of small components using a microscope - Adjustment of relays, switches, or other electronics - Testing of relays, switches, or other electronics - Able to read blueprints - 1st shift (6am start) - Must be available for overtime weekdays and Saturdays as needed - Must be able to read and interpret documents and operation procedures. - Must communicate effectively with leads, supervisors, customers (as required), and colleagues. - Must apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished via written, oral, or diagram form and assist in problem-solving. **Physical Demands:** Occasionally stand, walk, stoop/kneel/crouch, talk for feedback or hear for instructions, push/pull, and carry up to 10 lbs. Frequently sit, use hands or fingers to handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. **Vision Requirements:** Use close & far vision (20/20 vision at 14 inches or less & 20/50 far vision - both requirements can be met with corrected vision), distinguish red, green, blue, and yellow colors as prescribed in Dvorine Charts, Ishihara Plates, or AO-HRR Tests, and have depth perception (3D vision). Good eye-hand coordination is essential for assembling small parts. **Hard Skills** + Assembly of small components using a microscope + Adjustment of relays, switches, or other electronics + Testing of relays, switches, or other electronics + Reading blueprints + Using hand tools and some power tools (power drills, sanders, small lathe, etc.) + Understanding of mechanical hardware assembly + Knowledge of blueprints, Bill of Materials, and mechanical drawings + Basic computer skills + Simple mathematical calculations **Work Site** This is a fully on-site position in Hawthorne, California. **Work Environment** Aerospace, ITAR compliance required **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
