We are currently hiring for Electrical Assemblers to join our team. As the largest global manufacturer of Ground Support Equipment in the aviation and aerospace industries, we offer a dynamic and fast-paced work environment.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble electrical components and wiring equipment using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, and crimping tools.Read and interpret drawings and sketches.Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.Perform sub-assemblies for custom-built GSE units for various clients including airlines and the US government.Other assigned duties as needed.Essential Skills6 months of electrical experience in some capacity.Ability to take accurate measurements with a tape measure and use a multimeter.6 months of experience using hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with assembly, mechanic work, automotive technology, and blueprint reading.Mechanically inclined with a in brake jobs, generators, and related fields.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Our facility is a large manufacturing setting where dressing in jeans and a shirt is acceptable. Employees will receive a uniform within a month of starting. Tools will be provided, and steel-toed boots are required. The work environment can be chaotic at times due to the high volume of projects and tight deadlines.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Windsor, Connecticut.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
