**Job Title: Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated and skilled assemblers to join our assembly department. You will be responsible for reading blueprints and assembling various parts according to specifications. The parts range in size from 1 foot to as large as a railroad car. A general understanding of assembly and the ability to read wiring diagrams are required. This role involves creating custom parts based on client orders, so the ability to troubleshoot and problem-solve is crucial. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams. + Assemble parts according to specifications. + Create custom parts based on client orders. + Troubleshoot and resolve assembly issues. + Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality production. **Essential Skills** + At least 1 year of experience in assembly and blueprint reading. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read and interpret measuring tools such as measuring tape, rulers, and calipers. + Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Manufacturing preferred but not required. + Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + Strong problem-solving skills. **Why Work Here?** Our team is large, close-knit, and values diversity. The dress code includes steel-toe boots, hard hats, safety glasses, ear plugs, long pants, and professional shirts (no sleeveless shirts allowed). The shifts are split between 1st and 2nd shift, with more positions available on 2nd shift. The working hours are Monday-Saturday, with potential voluntary overtime on Sundays. 1st shift hours are 6:00am-2:00pm, and 2nd shift hours are 2:00pm-10:00pm. Candidates must be willing and able to stay up to 2 hours past the official shift end time if necessary. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Columbia, South Carolina. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
