**Hiring For An Electrical Assembler**
**Job Description**
The electrical assembler works in the digital print group and performs all wiring and assembly of industrial-sized control panels for custom printers.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble main electrical power pack per design and engineering specifications using schematics.
+ Assemble various components into electrical and pneumatic sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
+ Ensure completeness of sub-assemblies per the ATO sales order.
+ Handle all sub-assembly documentation.
+ Inspect components prior to assembly for visual defects and damage.
+ Inspect completed sub-assemblies, both visually and manually.
+ Support the assembly group in determining what is required to meet the sales order.
+ Assist the engineering department in redesigning and building prototype sub-assemblies for presses.
+ Prepare necessary forms such as material request, material return to stock, IRAD form, etc.
**Essential Skills**
+ Control panel wiring
+ Electrical wiring
+ Ability to read and utilize electrical schematics
+ Experience in electrical assembly, specifically on industrial-sized control panels
+ Proficiency in control panel assembly
+ Ability to wire up relays
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2 years of electrical experience or Trade school degree
+ Electrical and troubleshooting skills
+ Excellent communication skills
+ Ability to work with little or no supervision
+ High attention to detail
+ Team-oriented
+ Problem-solving skills
+ Ability to read blueprints and schematics
+ Good job tenure
+ Experience in troubleshooting with high attention to detail
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
+ HS Diploma or GED
**Work Environment**
The work environment is clean, climate-controlled, spacious, and fast-paced.
There are three openings for the 6am-2:30pm shift and no openings for the 2pm-10:30pm shift.
Employees must be able to work overtime on Saturdays, when necessary, currently averaging 10 hours of overtime per week.
The busiest time is from September through the end of the year, requiring candidates to handle high volume efficiently.
The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, jeans or pants, and a t-shirt (no shorts).

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.

**Workplace Type**
This is a fully onsite position in Chesterfield,MO.
