Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Assembler and Paint Specialist** **Job Description** We are looking for a detail-oriented individual who can multitask effectively to join our team as an Assembler and Paint Specialist. You will be responsible for packaging and assembling flashlight battery packs, first aid and survival kits, and demonstration bags for flight attendants. This role requires you to read work orders, follow production drawings, and use sample assemblies to complete tasks. **Responsibilities** + Read work orders and follow production drawings to assemble parts. + Follow written and verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed. + Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) safely. + Maintain a safe and clean environment. + Position and align parts in specified relationships using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices. + Join or secure parts using crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, or pressing fit. + Mount assembled components such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets on chassis panels. + Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies in cases or external hardware. + Assemble and attach hardware such as caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to assemblies. **Essential Skills** + High attention to detail + Ability to multitask + Manual dexterity + Strong communication skills + Ability to interact with others in a manufacturing environment + Problem-solving skills **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with packaging, assembly, and blueprint reading + Proficiency with hand and power tools + Experience in mechanical and electrical assembly + Ability to follow work instructions and perform soldering + High School Diploma or GED **Why Work Here?** Our workplace offers a newly built break room with a mini-market, a clean and organized facility, and a team-oriented environment. The position primarily involves working individually at a bench setting, with a team lead or supervisor nearby. The work schedule includes every other Friday off, with first shift running from 6am-3:30pm, second shift from 3:15pm-12:45am, and a split shift from 1pm-9pm or 2pm-10pm. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of East Aurora, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
