**Electrical Assembler - Addison, IL** 1st shift $25/hr **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler for Switchgear to assemble, wire, and test electrical switchgear and related equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and experience in working with switchgear or similar electrical systems. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and safety of power distribution systems. **Responsibilities** + Assemble switchgear panels, control cabinets, and other components based on engineering drawings and specifications + Wire electrical components, including circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and busbars, according to schematics + Terminate and connect cables, wires, and other electrical components + Perform continuity and functional tests on wired assemblies to ensure proper operation + Identify and correct wiring or assembly errors + Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in switchgear systems + Ensure wiring and assembly comply with electrical codes, industry standards, and company quality requirements + Review and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications + Document wiring changes, issues encountered, and resolutions for future reference **Essential Skills** + Experience in working with switchgear or similar electrical systems (3+ years) + Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams + Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics If you are interested in other skilled trades positions, please apply and submit your resume so we can discuss other opportunities that match your skill level! **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
