Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Electrical Assembler** **Job Description** The electrical assembler works in the digital print group and performs all wiring and assembly of industrial-sized control panels for custom printers. **Responsibilities** + Assemble main electrical power pack per design and engineering specifications using schematics. + Assemble various components into electrical and pneumatic sub-assemblies per engineering drawings, schematics, and diagrams. + Ensure completeness of sub-assemblies per the ATO sales order. + Maintain documentation for all sub-assemblies. + Inspect components for visual defects and damage before assembly. + Visually and manually inspect completed sub-assemblies. + Support the assembly group in determining requirements to meet the sales order. + Assist the engineering department in redesigning and building prototype sub-assemblies for presses. + Prepare necessary forms such as material requests, material returns to stock, and IRAD forms. **Essential Skills** + Control panel wiring + Electrical wiring + Electrical schematic reading + Electrical assembly experience on industrial-sized control panels + Ability to read and wire up relays from electrical schematics + Control panel assembly **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 2 years of electrical experience preferred + Electrical and troubleshooting skills + Excellent communication skills + Ability to work with little or no supervision + High attention to detail + Team-oriented mindset + Problem-solving skills + Ability to read blueprints and schematics + Good job tenure + Troubleshooting experience with high attention to detail + Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment + HS Diploma or GED **Why Work Here?** This is a great opportunity for someone looking to advance their career within the electrical field with a reputable company. Overtime on Saturdays may be necessary, with current overtime being 10 hours per week. The manufacturing environment is clean, climate-controlled, very spacious, and fast-paced. The busy season runs from September through the end of the year, so candidates must be able to work in a high-volume environment. The dress code includes steel-toe shoes, jeans/pants, and a t-shirt (no shorts). **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chesterfield, Missouri. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $27.00/hr.
