Electrical Assembler
**Job Title: Manufacturing Assembler B** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Assembler B to join our team in Smithfield, PA. The successful candidate will perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual operations. This position requires travel to other facilities and a commitment to continuous improvement of products and processes. **Responsibilities** + Perform routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, sub-assemblies, and aircraft systems equipment and accessories using manual operations. + Support continuous improvement of products and processes by participating in the design, fabrication, and testing of new concepts and technology. + Travel to other facilities as required. + Work onsite at the specified location. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read, understand, and interpret engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification change design). + 1 or more years of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings and schematics. + 1 or more years of experience working with precision measuring tools. + 1 or more years of experience with fabrication and/or assembly of mechanical or electrical systems utilizing production industry standards. + 1 or more years of experience with machine shop processes. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Knowledge of assembly and production processes, manufacturing capabilities, and data needed for defining delivery configurations (e.g., design definition, program directives, and engineering drawings, change memos, wiring diagrams, and schematics, functional tests, supplier data). + Ability to differentiate production manufacturing processes and requirements from in-service procedures and requirements. + Experience in the evaluation and qualification of materials, suppliers, equipment, technology, and processes to ensure that conformance and production requirements are met. + Commitment to teamwork and achieving common objectives. + Understanding of effective teamwork dynamics to attain higher levels of performance. + Ability to work as a member of a team. + Knowledge of the properties of metal and other common materials. + Complete knowledge of shop processes including Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, calibration requirements, and Electrostatic Discharge (ESD). + High School Diploma/GED. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers great benefits once permanent. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
