Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Assembler for Switchgear to assemble, wire, and test electrical switchgear and related equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams, and experience in working with switchgear or similar electrical systems.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring the reliability and safety of power distribution systems.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble switchgear panels, control cabinets, and other components based on engineering drawings and specificationsWire electrical components, including circuit breakers, relays, transformers, and busbars, according to schematicsTerminate and connect cables, wires, and other electrical componentsPerform continuity and functional tests on wired assemblies to ensure proper operationIdentify and correct wiring or assembly errorsTroubleshoot and resolve electrical issues in switchgear systemsEnsure wiring and assembly comply with electrical codes, industry standards, and company quality requirementsReview and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical specificationsDocument wiring changes, issues encountered, and resolutions for future referenceEssential SkillsExperience in working with switchgear or similar electrical systems (3+ years)Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagramsAbility to read and interpret electrical blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $62400.00/yr.
