Job Title: Assembler and Paint Specialist

Pay: $18.50-21/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and versatile individual to join our team as an Assembler and Paint Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling flashlight battery packs, first aid and survival kits, and demonstration bags for flight attendants. The position requires reading work orders, following production drawings, and using sample assemblies to complete tasks efficiently and with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

Read work orders and production drawings to assemble parts accurately.Follow verbal and written instructions for assigned tasks.Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure safety.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.Position and align parts using jigs, fixtures, or other holding devices.Secure parts through methods such as crimping, staking, screwing, bolting, riveting, welding, soldering, cementing, or pressing fit.Mount assembled components such as transformers, resistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and other parts on chassis panels.Install finished assemblies or sub-assemblies into external hardware or cases.Attach hardware like caps, clamps, knobs, and switches to complete assemblies.

Essential Skills:

High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.Manual dexterity and strong hand-eye coordination.Excellent communication skills for working with team members and supervisors.Problem-solving skills and initiative in resolving issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Experience in packaging, assembly, and reading blueprints.Proficiency in using hand and power tools.Experience with both mechanical and electrical assembly.Ability to follow work instructions and perform soldering tasks.High School Diploma or GED.

You will work individually at a bench setting, with support from a team lead or supervisor. The position requires working on first, second, or split shifts, with every other Friday off.

Shift Hours:First Shift: 6:00 am - 3:30 pm

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $21.00/hr.
