Electrical Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Electrical Assembly Technician** **Job Description** This is a 1st shift Electrical Assembly position working in the new wiring department. The working hours are Monday through Thursday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and Fridays and Saturdays as needed. Employees are informed on Wednesday morning if overtime will be required for Friday and/or Saturday. **Responsibilities** + Pull wire and spool it. + Read prints to determine part assembly locations in the panel. + Assemble solar panel power boxes and switchboards in a manufacturing facility. + Work as a team on the assembly line, non-automated. + Use hand tools, air power tools, and torque wrenches to screw in screws, nuts, and bolts. + Strip wires into metal plates to assemble power boxes. **Essential Skills** + Blueprint or schematic reading. + Ability to read a tape measure. + Experience using basic hand tools. + Experience with electrical wiring and assembly. + Hand-eye coordination for tasks such as stripping wire, adding crimps, and pin connectors. + Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. **Why Work Here?** This is a very clean work environment with a team-oriented and laid-back culture.
