Job Description
We are seeking a skilled individual to build industrial machines and control panels for industrial bakery equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience running and bending aluminum rigid conduit, reading wiring diagrams and schematics, and using various tools such as wire threaders, angle grinders, and plasma cutters. This role requires assembling electrical components, wiring components per specifications, and maintaining a safe and clean work area.
ResponsibilitiesBuild industrial machines and control panels for bakery equipment.Run and bend 1/2\"-1.5\" aluminum rigid conduit.Read and interpret wiring diagrams and schematics.Use hand and electrical wire threaders.Drill and tap holes in aluminum.Use angle grinders and plasma cutters.Interpret and follow verbal, written, and drawn instructions.Assemble various electrical components to back panels or equipment.Wire components according to given specifications.Maintain cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the work area.Perform tasks within acceptable quality limits and follow safety practices, including lock-out/tag-out procedures.Report assembly progress and suggest countermeasures to maintain or recover schedules.Identify and suggest productivity and quality improvements to supervisors or engineers.Essential SkillsProficiency in reading schematics and electrical diagrams.Experience as an electrician, preferably from an OEM.Solid electrical aptitude and understanding of NEC code and wiring techniques.Ability to comprehend and execute verbal, written, and drawn instructions.Comfortable using a wide variety of hand, electrical, and pneumatic tools.Ability to diagnose and repair electrical issues.Capability to lift up to 50 pounds.Ability to safely operate a forklift.Additional Skills & QualificationsTrade school education with an electrical focus.Relevant electrical experience.Experience with mechanical assembly and machine building.Ability to work with both live wire (up to 575V) and dead wire conditions.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a very clean facility that is not climate controlled. Typical manufacturing facility conditions include working indoors 95% of the time and outdoors 5% of the time. The facility is heated in winter but not air-conditioned in summer. Employees must be able to stand on concrete floors for at least eight hours and may need to kneel, squat, bend over, and stand for long periods. The environment can be occasionally loud, especially in areas where grinding or machine testing occurs. Ear plugs are provided and required where posted. Shifts are 6:00am-2:30pm Monday-Friday, with potential overtime on Saturdays.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
