Essential Duties and Responsibilities Integrate and install the body electrical system with the existing chassis platform. Follow company processes and methods to locate, route, and secure wiring and other electrical componentry. Install various electrical components and test their functionality. Ability to trouble shoot a variety of systems and components as needed to test and ensure desired functionality. Work with 12 and 24V DC systems. Complete installation of equipment in a professional manner which mirrors the fit and finish of the OEM chassis. Complete all tasks in a professional and timely manner, which meets all quality and company standards. Use of diagnostic tools such as a volt/amp meter to validate and troubleshoot. Use of various hand tools required. Keep the work area clean and maintained, per safety and company standards. Operate all tools and equipment safely, adhering to company safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Technical school or post-secondary school training a plus.  Knowledge of Class 8 truck and similar chassis electrical systems. Working knowledge and programming capabilities of chassis systems such as J1939 and CANBUS a plus. 1-3 years of work experience as an automotive or truck electrical technician. Ability to follow instructions with limited supervision.
