Description:You will be the Electrical Component Quality Engineer for the Precision Fires Line of Business programs in Grand Prairie, TX. Our team is responsible for ensuring the quality of electrical components and systems, and you will play a key role in transitioning products from development to production.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Electrical Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for evaluating design assurance activities and implementing production process methodologies to prevent impacts to production velocity and quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
-Ensuring compliance with electrical component specifications, military standards, and performance specifications
-Evaluating manufacturing quality requirements and developing plans to overcome obstacles
-Implementing solutions to prevent quality impacts at the component, sub-assembly, and final assembly levels

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance. A company-sponsored interim secret is required to start.
Basic Qualifications:
-BS degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or higher.
-Ability to obtain a Secret security clearance
-Familiar with Military Standards 883 and 750
-Familiar with MIL-PERF 38534, 38535, 19500
-Experience in electrical component failure analysis
-Demonstrated problem solving skills, including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action Planning
-Experience in microelectronics fabrication and test or equivalent experience
-Able to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods to turn materials into products
-Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques
-Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, contracts that will enable development and review of QE processes, and related performance metrics
-Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, product/performance specifications and other systems integration technical data
-Ability to analyze and resolve process issues varying from basic to very complex
-Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
-Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications including Access
-Effective communication skills - written, oral, listening, presentation and technical writing
-Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision in a fast- paced environment
-Must be able to travel domestically 30%
Desired Skills:
-Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
-ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) and / or
Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
-SAP Application Experience: QNOTES, etc.
-Advanced AS9100 Interpretation/application
