About being our Electrical Construction Inspector \n
As our Electrical Construction Inspector, you will join the Los Angeles World Airports (LAWA) project team of 40+ planners, architects, engineers, and other technical professionals to plan & design their next wave of capital investments, including airfield improvements, terminal improvements, infrastructure improvements, and more.\n

Responsibility Highlights for our Electrical Construction Inspector \n\nAbility to diagnose violations and hazards in new and existing electrical\/IT installations and take a proactive approach during construction\nGeneral understanding of low voltage systems including fire\/life safety and information technology\nAbility to read and interpret contract documents, electrical codes, applicable standards. Electrical\/IT\nInspectors must have the ability to set priorities, the ability to make decisions and work effectively with minimal supervision, the ability to deal tactfully and effectively with LAWA stakeholders, contractors, construction workers, the public and must conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.\n\n

Minimum Qualifications to be our Electrical Construction Inspector \n\nHigh school diploma or GED\nCurrent ICC Certification as a Commercial Electrical Inspector\n3+ years' experience performing electrical\/IT inspections\n3+ years' experience with airfield lighting\nProof of NFPE-70E standards (Completion of training must have been achieved within the last 3 years)\n30-hour Cal-OSHA training prior to assignment. (The 30-hour training will have been received within the last 4 years)\nThorough knowledge of the methods, materials and techniques of the electrical\/IT trade
