Volt is hiring an Electrical Controls Engineer to work onsite for our client in Duluth, GA in a direct hire opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for;

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tCreate PLC and HMI equipment operating programs for AdEdge equipment using RSLogix 500, Studio 5000 and FactoryTalk View Studio software programs.\r\n\tModify for improvement existing AdEdge PLC and HMI operating programs.\r\n\tProduce electrical wiring diagrams, panel layout drawings, and Manufacturing BOMs for AdEdge equipment.\r\n\tAssist with overseeing the efficient shop assembly of both automatic and manual operated control panels.\r\n\tConduct quality control inspections of both in-house and sub-contractor produced control panels.\r\n\tKeep all electrical engineering drawing and data files current and complete.\r\n\tProvide technical direction, serves as a point of contact or business liaison, prepares briefings for senior management and assists in problem resolution specific to the program/project.\r\n\tDesigns and tests electronic products.\r\n\tWrites manufacture and test procedures and reports. Participates in project teams and all activities related to the development of new products.\r\n\tProvides technical support to sales and marketing for bids and proposals.\r\n\tParticipate with on-site equipment start-up activities as required and coordinate SCADA integration.\r\n\tRectify field problems as well as problems found at start- up including electronics troubleshooting.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a full-time, DIRECT HIRE opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

Qualification/Requirements:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tB.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or A.S. in Engineering Technology plus 4 years working experience in the electrical engineering field.\r\n\t5+ years of engineering experience.\r\n\tDirect water treatment systems and technology and process experience a plus.\r\n\tExcellent personal communication skills for interfacing with customers.\r\n\tElectrical controls and instrumentation competency, PLC knowledge.\r\n\tLadder Logic.\r\n\tProfessional certifications or Professional Engineering license, preferred.\r\n\tInternational project experience preferred.\r\n\tStructured Text. \r\n\tExperience in the field with startup of water or wastewater treatment systems.\r\n\tAutoCAD Electrical & Process Design experience.\r\n\tTeam building and training expertise.\r\n\tScheduling, estimating, and procurement experience with >$ 1MM projects.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Salary: $100 - 115K annually *Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
