Job Description
As an Electrical Controls Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the successful execution of projects from inception to completion. Working closely with our lead engineering and management team, you will gain hands-on experience in project planning, coordination, and execution. ResponsibilitiesAssist project managers in planning and executing projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives and client requirements.Collaborate with team members to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and contribute to project risk assessments and mitigation strategies.Coordinate with cross-functional teams to facilitate communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.Conduct research, analysis, and evaluations to support project decision-making processes and provide technical input as needed.Learn and execute PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) programming under the guidance of lead engineers, contributing to the automation and control systems of various projects.Prepare and maintain project documentation, including progress reports, meeting minutes, and technical specifications, under the guidance of lead engineers.Support in resolving project-related issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner, escalating issues to lead management as necessary.Assist in the procurement process by liaising with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain materials and services required for project execution.Participate in site visits, inspections, and quality assurance activities alongside lead engineers to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.Essential SkillsProficiency in electrical engineering principles.Experience with AutoCAD Electrical.Proficiency in PLC programming.Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.5+ years of engineering/project management experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Work Environment
In this department, there are 5 individuals: 3 working specifically on designing filters and 2 Project Engineers who will be integrating the filters into the system. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is moderate in the office and loud in the shop. The position requires safety glasses and safety shoes when out on the shop floor.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
