Job Description
Seeking a Controls & Instrumentation Engineer to support projects ranging from small studies to multi-million dollar turn-key supply. The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, organized, able to communicate to all levels of the organization and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
+ Develop electrical specifications for part/equipment selection (50-60% of the role).
+ Program PLCs, primarily Allen Bradley PLCs but experience with other PLCs is also acceptable (40-50% of the role).
+ Write code using Rockwell or other PLC systems.
+ Perform HMI programming using FactoryTalk or other HMI software.
+ Design control systems and specify instrumentation controls.
+ Work on automation and controls engineering projects.
+ Collaborate with team members and communicate project details effectively.
JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
+ Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
+ Minimum of one (1) year of hands-on engineering experience.
+ Experience with PLC programming, particularly Allen Bradley PLCs.
+ Experience with HMI programming, especially FactoryTalk.
+ Proficiency in electrical engineering and instrumentation controls.
+ Experience in electronics, instrumentation, control, and data acquisition systems.
+ Knowledge of variable frequency drive systems, motion control systems, sensors and transmitters, actuators, PID control, and communication networks.
+ Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $57.00/hr.
