Job Title: Electrical Controls Technician
Job Description

The Electrical Controls Technician will support the electrical department with troubleshooting, testing, repairing, and servicing technical equipment using electrical or mechanical prints. The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and be self-motivated and collaborative.

ResponsibilitiesTroubleshoot, test, repair, and service technical equipment using electrical or mechanical prints.Provide field service support and ensure timely and effective customer service.Work with AC/DC electrical systems, including voltages up to 480VAC and 24VDC.Handle electrical motors, primarily 208/230, 240, and 480 VAC.Utilize PLC knowledge, including Schneider Electric and Automation Direct systems.Collaborate with team members on panel and custom applications.Support installations both in-office and on-site.Essential Skills4+ years of experience working in the controls industry.Proven field service experience.Knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems up to 480VAC to 24VDC.Experience with electrical motors (208/230, 240, and 480 VAC).PLC knowledge, particularly with Schneider Electric and Automation Direct.2-year Technical Degree.Experience in customer service.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to work under minimal supervision and in a group setting.Strong attention to detail.Excellent time management and prioritization skills.Positive, professional attitude and high productivity.Basic computer skills; IT knowledge is a plus.Work Environment

The position involves working in the office when not traveling, collaborating with the team on panels and custom applications, and supporting installations. The role requires 50% on-site work with 50% travel, offering a per diem of $60/day when traveling. The shift is Tuesday to Friday (5:30 am - 4 pm), with Monday being an 8-hour day at an overtime rate (1.5x).

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.
