Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Design Engineer to design electrical controls and power systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing preliminary and final design drawings, completing required design calculations, and ensuring all designs comply with company procedures, regulations, and client standards. Responsibilities + Produce preliminary and final design drawings and documentation through CAD programs. + Complete required design calculations. + Design lighting for industrial warehousing. + Provide support during the building and installation process to ensure machines are built properly and according to design specifications. + Consult with fabrication teams during product manufacturing, advising on design specifications and providing physical assistance when required. Essential Skills + 2-5 years of experience in electrical system design. + Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience. + Professional experience with AutoCAD or other CAD programs (e.g., SolidWorks). + Strong understanding of engineering principles, with a focus on electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME preferred). + Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing large-scale industrial refrigeration or related projects (e.g., HVAC, commercial refrigeration, or heavy industrial construction). + Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing cross-functional teams of engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. + Strong negotiation skills to ensure cost-effective procurement and the ability to solve complex issues independently within project constraints. + Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to manage client expectations and provide clear updates on project progress.
