Description
The Electrical Designer/Engineer will coordinate design components with a multi-disciplinary team and will be working daily within AutoCAD and Revit.
ResponsibilitiesCoordinate design components with a multi-disciplinary team.Work daily within AutoCAD and Revit.Design power distribution and lighting for low voltage.Design specialized systems such as emergency generator selection and design, site lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, A/V, and security.Familiarity with NEC and other applicable codes.Design within healthcare/medical projects, as well as commercial projects.Work on projects from scratch.Essential SkillsMinimum of 3 years of experience in Electrical Design within power distribution and lighting for low voltage.Proficiency in Revit.Experience in AutoCAD.Familiarity with the design of specialized systems such as emergency generator selection and design, site lighting, fire alarm, nurse call, A/V, and security.Electrical Engineering Degree.Additional Skills & QualificationsPE license not required.Familiarity with NEC and other applicable codes.Experience in designing healthcare/medical and commercial projects.Work Environment
The role offers a hybrid schedule with 2 days in the office and 3 days working from home. Monday is required as an in-office day, with the second day being flexible. The working hours are from 8:30 am to 4 pm for client calls and other duties. The company offers a close-knit working environment with 12-15 employees, full medical benefits, a 3% match 401k, and a hybrid schedule. Employees enjoy 2 weeks of PTO, standard 6 holidays, and 1 week of sick leave per year. The office environment includes individual offices for each employee, occasional outings such as Braves games.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $110000.00/hr.
