Electrical Design Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, the Electrical Engineer oversees and leads the design of electrical control systems for the safe, effective, and efficient operation of products and processes while meeting and exceeding company quality and production standards and customer documentation and delivery requirements.

ResponsibilitiesOversee and lead the design of electrical control systems for assemblies.Develop and implement engineering standards while complying with applicable codes and customer specifications.Ensure workflow remains within schedule and budget requirements through effective project management.Utilize AutoCAD Electrical for designing and drafting electrical schematics and control systems.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and integrate electrical, mechanical, and software design and commissioning functions.Essential Skills5+ years of experience in overseeing, leading, and designing electrical product control systems.3+ years of experience utilizing AutoCAD Electrical.Proven ability in electrical power engineering discipline.Demonstrated competencies across electrical, mechanical, and software design and commissioning functions.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred but not required.Commercial and design experience related to renewables, emerging energy markets, data centers, battery systems, stored energy, and charging stations is a plus.Work Environment

This is an onsite position requiring regular interaction with equipment on the shop floor. Minimal travel, less than 10%, may be required in the future. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
