Job Title: Electrical Design Engineer
Job Description
Join our dynamic team and help architects bring their designs to life. Ensure public safety with energy-efficient system designs that also protect buildings from fire hazards. You will design three-phase power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting, fire alarm systems, and grounding systems. Our engineers work closely with architects to create the designs and also travel to project sites to ensure the contractor is meeting the design intent.
Responsibilities
+ Design three-phase power distribution systems, branch circuits, lighting, fire alarm systems, and grounding systems.
+ Work closely with architects to create and finalize designs.
+ Travel to project sites to ensure contractors meet the design intent.
+ Ensure public safety with energy-efficient system designs that protect buildings from fire hazards.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in Revit and electrical design engineering.
+ Knowledge of electrical building systems.
+ Familiarity with NEC standards.
+ Licensed EIT or intention to take the FE exam.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with design for commercial buildings, with an openness to industrial projects.
+ Building systems focused rather than product-focused.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
