Electrical Designer
Job Title: Electrical Designer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to take responsibility for all electrical elements of crane design. This role requires a strong background in industrial electrical design, with opportunities for career advancement. Responsibilities + Design electrical systems for cranes and material handling systems. + Utilize electrical design tools such as AutoCAD Electrical. + Collaborate with a team of electrical engineers and shop personnel. + Ensure designs comply with NEC Codes and standards. + Participate in the electrical design of overhead cranes and material handling systems. + Work on industrial automation and control systems. Essential Skills + Bachelor of Science or Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical design work in an industrial environment. + Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical. + Experience with Microsoft Office tools and software. + Hands-on experience with electrical systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the electrical design of overhead cranes and material handling systems is preferred. + Industrial automation and controls experience is a plus. + Experience in an electrical shop or with design work for other equipment manufacturers (e.g., conveyors, robotics). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.48/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
