About this Role

We are seeking an Electrical Designer who exemplifies leadership, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities in intricate projects, possessing extensive expertise in electrical design, NEC code compliance, utility coordination, renewable energy, and electric vehicle charging stations.

What You'll Do Hands-on development and design of electrical systems, battery storage and Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure and Electric Vehicle charging stations in commercial public and fleet applications.Strong background in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Bluebeam RevU for design revisions and project documentationLead the electrical design and development for EV charging infrastructure, considering existing/proposed system capabilities and requirements, public and private safety standards, and project specific objectivesWork closely with engineers from various disciplines to assess current site conditions and recommend charging solutions that maximize area efficiency through detailed engineering design drawingsEnsure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements throughout the development process.Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, regulations and advancements in the EV industry, actively contributing to the company's innovation. What You'll Bring Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion.Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions in electrical designProficiency in National Electrical Code (NEC) AdherenceExpertise in EV Charging Station design, deployment and constructabilityProficient in training and mentoring team members on NEC compliance and engineering standardsSkilled in designing power distribution systems up to 5000A, 120/208V to 277/480V, 3-phase systems.Advanced skills in Bluebeam RevU Professional and Microsoft Office SuiteProficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStationHands-on experience with EV testing, including electrical system validation and troubleshooting.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a simple format.
