Seeking Electrical Designer with 5+ years of Compressor Station experience

Job Description

Develops designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures, and plant arrangements with minimum supervision. Ensures proper dimensioning, completeness of material quantities and specifications, and design needs relative to regulatory and industry codes. Plans and executes the presentation of arrangements in AutoCAD Plant 3D.

ResponsibilitiesDevelop designs for complete and complex engineering systems, structures, and plant arrangements with minimum supervision.Ensure proper dimensioning, completeness of material quantities and specifications, and design needs relative to regulatory and industry codes.Plan and execute the presentation of arrangements in AutoCAD Plant 3D.Collect, read, interpret, and use related reference documents and drawings prepared by other disciplines, vendors, or outside sources.Ensure compliance with approved design standards to provide quality design, safety, constructability, reliable operation, construction economy, and operating convenience.Review and check calculations, design models, drawings, and design documents for quality, accuracy, neatness, functionality, and satisfactory completion.Assist others with assembling bid, approval, and construction issue drawing packages.Prepare a 2D model, multiple view drawing and details, and incorporate mechanical 3D background drawings prepared by others.Essential SkillsAt least 10 years' experience in Natural Gas facility design as a senior level electrical/instrumentation CAD designer.Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoCAD P&ID, AutoCAD Plant 3D, and Navisworks.Experience in drafting/design in both mechanical and electrical disciplines.Additional Skills & Qualifications3D design experience preferred.Work Environment

Fully remote role, working within the Electrical Design Team. The team consists of 1 Lead Designer and 2 other Sr. Level Designers. Frequent meetings via Teams and collaboration with Engineers.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $51.00
