Description Job Summary Under close and frequent supervision, the Designer assists Engineers, Project Managers, or Management by performing the routine aspects of electrical engineering assignments, subsequently providing familiarity with the programs, staff, and operating procedures of the company. • Performs electrical design calculations (i.e. low/medium voltage power distribution systems, lighting, security/fire systems, data/telecommunications systems, etc.), sketches, technical comparisons, and similar technical work as required by the assignment. • Coordinates project assignments with those of other Engineers, Project Managers, and Management in their team. • Review drawings supplied by vendors, clients, engineers, and architects and recommends necessary changes. • Researches code issues and works with City, State, and County officials. • Researches design options and documents findings for Engineers, Project Managers, and Management. • Assists with duties assigned by Engineers, Project Managers, and Management. • May attend site investigations, project kick-off, and design review meetings and interacts with clients as their level of experience progresses. Experience Level Entry Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
