Why Actalent + Work with dedicated recruiter specialized in your skillset + We advocate on your behalf so you get what you need out of your job + Build your career and learn new skills through projects + You are eligible for benefits and competitive wages Job Responsibilities + Hands-on development and design of electrical systems, battery storage and Electric Vehicle Charging infrastructure and Electric Vehicle charging stations in commercial public and fleet applications. + Lead the electrical design and development of EV charging infrastructure, considering existing/proposed system capabilities and requirements, public and private safety standards, and project specific objectives. + Work closely with engineers from various disciplines to assess current site conditions and recommend charging solutions that maximize area efficiency through detailed engineering design drawings. + Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental requirements throughout the development process. + Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, regulations, and advancements in the EV industry, actively contributing to the company's innovation. Additional Details + Experience in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Bluebeam RevU for design revisions and project documentations. + Proficiency in National Electrical Code (NEC) adherence + Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex projects from conception to completion. + Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on innovative solutions in electrical design + Expertise in EV Charging Station design, deployment and constructability + Proficient in training and mentoring team members on NEC compliance and engineering standards + Skilled in designing power distribution systems up to 5000A, 120/208V to 277/480V, 3-phase systems + Advanced skills in Bluebeam RevU Professional and Microsoft Office Suite + Hands-on experience with EV testing, including electrical system validation and troubleshooting + Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment + Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a simple format.
