Electrical Designer
Job Title: Electrical Designer Job Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong expereince in electrical design, engineering, and consulting services. Responsibilities + Design electrical lighting and power systems for vertical and horizontal projects, particularly transportation-related projects. + Perform electrical calculations using engineering formulas and software. + Prepare point-by-point lighting calculations and ensure energy code compliance. + Prepare project documentation according to code requirements. + Maintain project schedules and ensure timely deliverables to clients. + Actively participate in project meetings. + Engage in internal QA/QC processes. + Provide input and guidance on company processes and standards. + Deliver quality service to clients. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering or design. + Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD. + Knowledge of lighting, power systems, and the National Electrical Code. + Strong work ethic and reliability. + Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to articulate strategies clearly and concisely. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with GI-32, Civil 3D, Microstation, ProjectWise is a plus. + PE License is an advantage. + Experience in transportation projects is a plus. + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handle short deadlines, and prioritize tasks. + Upbeat attitude and professional appearance. + Quick learner and strong teacher. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
