You will have the opportunity to work cross-functionally with global teams, learning from some of the industry’s best people and developing leadership skills by working on and running projects that support the business. **Thrive at work and at home:** + Benefits kick in on DAY ONE for you and your family, including health insurance and holistic wellness programs that include generous incentives – WE DARE TO CARE! + Family building benefits include fertility coverage and adoption/surrogacy assistance. + 401K match up to 6%, plus an additional 2% core contribution = up to 8% company contribution. + Paid time off, including in support of volunteer and parental leave needs. + Educational and training opportunities through company programs along with tuition assistance and student debt support. + Learn more about our benefits here (https://careers.tranetechnologies.com/global/en/benefits) ! **Where is the work:** This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule (3 or more days onsite per week) based out of La Crosse (WI). **What you will do:** + Produce electrical designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems. + Develop control box layout design, wire harness routing and schematics specifically for air-cooled chillers. + Document parts and bills of materials. + Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity with design and drafting standard practices, methods, and processes. + Work from oral engineering instructions or written procedures, schematics, drawings, and sketches. + Maintain competency level of computer-aided graphic systems and other applications through company-provided training and materials. + Develop and/or update Trane electrical purchased part engineering drawings and standards. + Achieve scheduled milestones for assigned projects. + Effectively meet the needs of internal and external customers. + Maintain awareness and adhere to all company safety and security policies and procedures. + Provide technical support, including answering questions from other departments relative to drawings or design data. + Work cross-functionally with global teams to develop concepts for new & improved air-cooled chillers. + May be required to travel to various locations to support products or train other personnel. **What you will bring:** + Associate’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering; or 5+ years of experience in lieu of degree. + Experience in CAD, Autocad, SolidWorks, Creo Parametrics, Creo Schematics, Inventor, or ProEngineer. + Basic project management skills for small-scale projects and awareness of overall project status, risks, and obstacles to progress. **Compensation:** Base salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000. Our prosperous commission plans grow over time with a successful employee’s growing pipeline.
