This position is hybrid in nature at the discretion of the manager typically requiring 2-3 days/week on-site at either the Westinghouse facility in Rock Hill, SC located 20-minutes North of Charlotte, NC or Cranberry Woods Westinghouse Global Headquarters in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Remote may be consider for qualified candidates not currently located in those areas. No relocation will be provided for this position. We are able to entertain all candidates authorized to work without sponsorship now and in the future as we are unable to sponsor Visa's for this opportunity.
Your Day-to-Day:
The Electrical Designer Lead will mentor, provide team oversite and direction to designers supporting department leadership for offer development and project execution. They will mentor and develop designers incorporating lessons learned to maintain technical capacity and prioritize engineering tasks assessing project objectives, execution time, and cost implementation while ensuring best practices, lessons learned and improvements are realized. Using Issue resolution skills for understanding engineering concepts they will align w/ Engineer Leads for solutions understanding project and group constrains leveraging best solution for each situation.
