Job Description

We are seeking a consultant to provide electrical drafting support to help us with an incoming plant expansion. This role involves using AutoCAD to create single line diagrams, schematic drawings, I/O lists, and conduit schedules. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment, specifically a foundry. This is a 2-year contract opportunity.

ResponsibilitiesCreate single line diagrams.Develop schematic drawings and I/O lists.Prepare conduit schedules.Spend time on the plant floor for measurements.Collaborate with engineers and drafters.Essential SkillsProficiency in AutoCAD.Experience in electrical design and schematic creation.Degree in EMET, EE, or CAD.0-5 years of experience with AutoCAD for electrical design.Additional Skills & QualificationsDetail-oriented and analytical.Ability to work independently and in a team.Good communication skills.Work EnvironmentLocation: Air-conditioned office adjacent to the mill--Near Pottsville, PADress Code: Casual, jeans allowed.Team: 8 engineers and 3 drafters (1 specializing in electrical work).Work Distribution: 70% desk-based, 30% shop floor.Contract DetailsDuration: 2 years.
