Job Description
The Drafter provides successful plans for the organization and team according to the strategic direction and organizational standards set by the Directorial Team.
ResponsibilitiesCollect materials required for designsDraft designs using computer-aided design (AutoCAD and Revit) softwareCreate diagrams and layouts to illustrate the workflow of designsCollaborate with the design team to review drawings and designsAdjust drawings according to feedback from engineers or designersEnsure designs comply with company regulations and quality standardsSet up drawings and configuration filesProvide basic calculations for use by the design team in preparation of the project documentsManage general downloads and files received from outside consultants and architectsWork from rough sketches, verbal direction, and specifications created by engineers and designersProvide quality customer service, including interacting with customers, answering customer inquiries, and effectively handling customer complaintsMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societiesEssential SkillsProficient in AutoCADProficient in Revit1+ year of electrical experience preferredAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience in AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industryWillingness to learn electrical draftingTeam playerEager to continue learningWork Environment
The position follows a Monday to Thursday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM. The primary location preference is Las Vegas. The role involves working on various projects including hospitality/casino, commercial, multifamily, industrial, and medical. The company emphasizes continuous employee development.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55000.00 - $60000.00
