Job Title: Electrical Drafter IV
Location: Hybrid position (on-site and remote, depending on business needs)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week with flexible start and end times
Contract: Likely to transition to a full-time role by the end of the contract.
Job Summary:
We are seeking an Electrical Drafter IV to prepare detailed drawings of electrical components, diagrams, and electrical panel layouts using CREO 7 (or higher). This role requires knowledge of electrical materials, engineering practices, and mathematics. The Drafter will be responsible for working with technical drawings, electrical panel layouts, PLC I/O drawings, and coordinating with other workers to document changes and updates.
Responsibilities:
Develop detailed design drawings and specifications using CAD equipment (CREO 7 or higher). Coordinate with other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems. Document electrical drawing changes and updates. Work on multiple projects, incorporating change notices from lead designers. Manage and access designs via Windchill to track changes and updates.Key Skills:
Cabling and Harnessing Experience in CREO. Windchill experience. Expertise in CREO 7 (or higher).Education/Experience:
Required: High school diploma or GED. Experience: 5-8 years of experience with CREO 7 (or higher) and schematic/cabling work.Additional Requirements:
Strong creativity, verbal and written communication skills. Analytical and problem-solving ability. Team-oriented and detail-oriented. Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles used in precision technical plans, blueprints, and models. Basic knowledge of engineering science and technology. Familiarity with computer applications like CADD CREO 7.
