Our client, a leader in the engineering and design sector, is seeking an **Electrical Drafter IV** to join their team. As an **Electrical Drafter IV,** you will be part of the engineering department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have creativity, strong analytical skills, and excellent verbal and written communication abilities, which will align successfully with the organization.
**Job Title:** Electrical Drafter IV
**Location:** Fridley, Minnesota
**Pay Range:** $30-$35.25/hr.
**What's the Job?**
+ Prepare detailed drawings of electrical components, diagrams, and electrical panel layouts using CREO 7 (or higher).
+ Utilize knowledge of electrical materials, engineering practices, and mathematics to complete drawings.
+ Coordinate with and consult other workers to design, layout, or detail components and systems.
+ Document electrical drawing changes and recover change notices from lead designers.
+ Work on multiple projects while managing time effectively in a hybrid work environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 5-8 years of experience with CREO 7 (or higher) and cabling/harnessing experience.
+ Proficiency in Windchill for managing design documentation.
+ Basic knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing technical plans and drawings.
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ High school diploma or GED required; additional education in engineering or related fields is a plus.
