Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The role involves the design and analysis of electrical systems for building construction projects, collaborating with other engineers using AutoCAD and REVIT, and conducting design calculations and code research. You will also be responsible for discussing design concepts with clients and writing/editing system specifications. This position offers the opportunity to participate in project interviews, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain project schedules. Responsibilities + Analyze and engineer electrical systems for building construction projects. + Collaborate with other engineers and disciplines using AutoCAD and REVIT. + Conduct design calculations and perform code research. + Discuss design concepts with clients and write/edit system specifications. + Participate in project interviews and ensure client satisfaction. + Maintain project schedules and meet deadlines. + Coordinate work with team members and cross-reference drawings with meeting notes. + Create schematic, design development, and construction documents. Essential Skills + 6-8 years of electrical engineering experience within building design. + Proficiency in AutoCAD and REVIT. + Strong communication and human relations skills. + In-depth knowledge of electrical systems and construction. + Ability to solve complex problems and make independent judgments. + Commitment to quality and teamwork. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor of Science in Engineering. + PE License (preferred but not required). + Experience in electrical building consulting. + Familiarity with construction administration and client communication. + Ability to create and review shop drawings. Work Environment This role offers a flexible schedule from 8am-5pm, with the option to adjust hours as needed. The position follows a hybrid model with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote. Occasional site visits are required within the Atlanta market, with minimal travel outside of this area. The job requires being on construction sites and operating a vehicle to meetings and job sites. Personal protective equipment will be provided as required. A valid driver’s license is necessary.
