Job duties

Execute a lead role for the design, prototype, test and troubleshoot embedded electronics hardware and firmware for mid to high complexity projects.Provide expertise and engineering support on high complexity projects.Use laboratory equipment to debug and develop your design with oscilloscopes, power supplies, electronic loads, spectrum analyzers, ESD/EMC, data acquisition systems, and analysis software.Effectively communicate and motivate up, down and across the organization to a diverse range of technical and non-technical team members.Drive urgency in project schedules and accountability for establishing and achieving key project metrics that meet the organization’s needs.Independently track projects to ensure adherence to schedule and the TTi product development process.

Position requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field5+ years of experience in the Embedded Electronics design field including 32-bit microcontroller-based circuits.Expertise in C programming and related development tools and processes.Practical knowledge in analog/digital system tradeoffs and design, especially related to signal integrity, noise analysis, and margin considerations.High level of knowledge of firmware architecture and codebase re-use methodology.Ability to read schematics and component data sheets, along with a basic understanding of digital circuits to understand the interaction between firmware and electronics.Experience with different types of sensors used in industryDemonstrated experience with robotics will be a plusSelf-motivated, organized, efficient, process oriented with a strong work ethic.Excellent problem-solving skills, exercises independent judgement and works well under pressure in a dynamic environment.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to travel 10% of the time (domestic and international).
