We are looking for a leader who will supervise and co-ordinate operation, repair, and continuous improvement of electrical equipment (PLC, HMI, Power Distribution, etc.). You will be responsible for troubleshooting, the performance and reliability of vacuum furnaces, kilns, breakers & junctions, power distribution and transformation. The goal is to reduce equipment downtime and increase final yield. You will be able to identify opportunities to decrease operational costs. You will collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, and R&D to support and refine continuous process improvement.

What Will You Be Doing?

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMaintenance of electro-mechanical systems, such as VFDs, motors, harmonic filters, and blower stages, as well as on-board electronic control systems comprising CPUs, PLCs, HMIs, and various instruments.\r\n\tAssist with electrical support for all systems.\r\n\tOversee operation and maintenance of all electrical systems!\r\n\tRecord and analyze equipment data.\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\tEnsure compliance with all safety standards.\r\n\tDirect and manage contractors in work assignments. \r\n\tCoordinate repairs and upgrades of electrical systems.\r\n\tPrevent interruptions and subsequent impacts to Operations.\r\n\tUrgent response to system recovery or troubleshooting.\r\n\tModification of existing electrical systems to meet new equipment needs and demands.\r\n\tWork in tandem with internal and external project stakeholders.\r\n\tMaintain working relationship with contractors and vendors.\r\n\tEvaluate equipment/materials to increase reliability and uptime utilization.\r\n\tMaintain regulatory requirements of federal, state, and local codes.\r\n\tSupport lean manufacturing, safety, 6S and yield improvement initiatives!\r\n\r\n\r\n

What Will You Need To Be Successful In This Role?

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tMinimum of 10 years’ experience in Manufacturing, Chemicals, Refining, Oil & Gas, or Mining environment.\r\n\tIndustrial and facilities maintenance experience required.\r\n\tSupervisory experience required.\r\n\tABET – accredited BS or higher Electrical Engineering degree. \r\n\tExperience with high voltage switchgear operation and maintenance.\r\n\tExperience with typical rotating equipment, including three phase motors.\r\n\tControls Engineering and SCADA system knowledge.\r\n\tController hardware/firmware design knowledge.\r\n\tCircuit Design and selection.\r\n\tTest Equipment Design/Accuracy.\r\n\tLow voltage step-up circuits and High Voltage Resistance Equipment experience.\r\n\tTEC Controls/Efficiency/Reliability.\r\n\tPLC logic and programming experience a plus!\r\n\tDemonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to the organization.\r\n\tDemonstrated ability to analyze thermoelectric-related problems. \r\n\tGood interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills! \r\n\tWilling to travel domestically up to 5%.\r\n\tDepending on location, this position may be responsible for the execution and maintenance of the ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a direct hire, onsite career opportunity in Newark, Delaware.

The salary range is $79,000 to $140,000 per year.

\r\n\r\n
