Our work spans from safeguarding and maintaining critical infrastructure to helping communities recover from natural disasters, from empowering our armed forces and first responders to reducing carbon and energy use, and from making cities more resilient against the threats of climate change to restoring contaminated ecological systems. **Functional Group** LFG Specialties is a part of the Solid Waste Services group within APTIM's Environmental & Energy Solutions Strategic Business Unit. LFG Specialties is an original equipment manufacturer and has been servicing the solid waste industry (i.e., landfills) since 1987, providing custom fabricated compliance equipment (i.e., landfill gas extraction and compression systems, flares, and evaporation systems for the treatment of landfill leachate), service, and parts. These modular systems are designed, fabricated, and tested at APTIM's Findlay, OH campus, which consists of over 45,000 sq. ft. of fabrication and assembly shop area. These systems serve to minimize fugitive landfill gas emissions and reduce leachate volumes to maintain compliance with the EPA guidelines for MSW landfills and mitigate the release of Greenhouse Gases that deteriorate the ozone. **Job Overview:** **LFG Specialties LLC** , an APTIM company, located in **Findlay, Ohio,** is growing and in need of a qualified **Electrical Engineer** to join our team. We are a leading original equipment manufacturer of landfill gas extraction, compression, combustion (i.e., flares), and leachate remediation equipment utilized in the solid waste industry. **Must be local to Findlay, OH or willing to relocate to Findlay, OH. Relocation assistance is available.** **Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:** + Interfacing with Process Engineers to develop process ladder logic, OIT's and configuring PLCs, to meet project specifications. + Designing power distribution panels and variable frequency drive packages. + Responsible for specifying process instrumentation, control system hardware, and power regulated components. + Will be responsible for working with Electrical CAD Designer to develop control panel and wiring diagrams. + Work closely with in-house panel shop to ensure all panels are built in accordance with drawings and UL specifications. + Ensures effective communications. + Other duties as assigned. **Basic Qualifications:** + Successful candidate will possess experience in both industrial controls and power distribution. + Strong written and oral communication skills are required. + 2 -7 years of relevant experience with working knowledge of Allen Bradley + AutoCad experience + Some travel and field troubleshooting required. **Preferred Qualification:** + BSEE strongly preferred. \#LI-Onsite \#LI-TQ1 Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled Applicants with a physical or mental disability who require a reasonable accommodation for any part of the application or hiring process may make their request known by e-mailing HRQuestions@cbifederalservices.com or calling 855.343.5600 for assistance.
