Electrical Engineer

An award-winning architecture and engineering firm is looking to add an Electrical Engineer to their team!

Job Description:

Coordinate with other disciplines and work in a team environmentConduct field investigations when needed, produce field reports with detailed sketchesPerform duties with multiple projects within the established schedules and budgetsWork on a wide variety of project types, scales and complexityWill work on projects in heavy industry, metals, chemical/petrochemical or environmental projects:Breaker and starter sizingConduit and cable sizing2-D orthographic design drawing developmentSingle line and network diagram developmentMeeting with ClientsElectrical systems installation review during construction for general compliance with construction documents

Qualifications:

Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Electrical EngineeringFive (5) or more years relevant work experience in the industrial sectorProfessional Engineer (PE) Registration preferred, but not requiredWorking knowledge of NEC, IEC, ISA & IEEE design complying with industry standards is a plusAutoCAD and/or Revit skills preferred, but not mandatory; Arc-flash study experience a plusAbility to visit and safely traverse construction and project sitesAbout Actalent
