Electrical Engineer
Job Title: Electrical Engineer

Job DescriptionProvide design leadership and expertise in applicable codes and standardsPreparation and supervision of preparation of contract documents including schematic design, design development and final construction drawings and specificationsDeliver accurate and thorough code compliant designs meeting industry standards within budget constraintsReview and carry out complex electrical technical studies and prepare high caliber reportsProficiency with construction process and constructability issuesResolve site construction issues, attend site meetings and perform site inspections during the construction phase of projectsReview internal and external designs for code compliance, good design practice and constructabilityPerform quality assurance and quality control tasks on projects

Required QualificationsBS degree in Electrical Engineering required- Degree must be acredited in the United StatesPE not required but preferredMust have practical design experience working on building systemsBuilding system experience is a must have qualification5-10+ years of Electrical engineering experienceThis does NOT include internship experience or experience outside of the United StatesKnowledge of NEC, NFPA70, NFPA72 and Chicago Building Codes a plus.Revit MEP highly preferredMust be local- this role is primarily onsiteMust have valid work authorizationAbout Actalent
