Job Title: Electrical Engineer Job Description Our client is a full-service Architecture, Engineering & Construction management firm located in Herndon, VA. They are currently seeking a Jr-Mid Level Engineer to join their team. Their projects are mostly in data centers and mission-critical work, but they also have projects in office spaces, recreational/community centers, and fire stations. Responsibilities + Design lighting, power systems, and fire alarms for mission-critical facilities + Prepare electrical drawings and specifications + Review submittals + Conduct field surveys to verify existing electrical installations + Develop single-line diagrams and floor plans from field surveys Hard Skills + Proficient in electrical design in AutoCAD + Create construction documents + Experience in design of large commercial buildings like data centers and mission-critical work Work Site This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in Reston, Virginia and some days remote. Work Environment The company is a full-service engineering firm with 30 people. They work 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing in AutoCAD, conducting site visits, and interacting with architects and other clients.
