Electrical Engineer
Below are some details about the position: + SCHEDULE/ENVIRONMENT: On-site Description: -Design and document various FPGA (field-programmable gate array)-based systems and subsystems -Review and analyze product/project requirements -Design, control, and implement electrical products and systems -Develop methods and procedures to continuously improve the quality and reliability of products -Support critical business needs, such as resolving technical issues, visiting customer sites (domestic and international), and reviewing standard and non-standard system configuration requests MUST HAVES: -Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent Engineering degree and experience -8+ years Electrical Engineering experience -Experience developing hardware for complex custom devices -Experience with some 2D drafting software -Experience with Complex PCB design and defining advanced PCB design constraints NICE TO HAVES: -Experience with programming FPGA solutions (Field Programmable Gate Array) Experience with VHDL programming for implementing FPGA solutions (Field Programmable Gate Array) Complex PCB design and defining advanced PCB design constraints PCB design tools, Altium preferred Analog and digital electronic systems Lean and Six-Sigma concepts SolidWorks, AutoCAD, DraftSight, or other 3D/2D drafting software Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft products Strong analytical, problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills About Actalent Actalent is a global leader in engineering and sciences services and talent solutions.
