Control systems are comprised of hardware and software required to support PLC's, industrial PC's, HMI's, and Servo systems connected via industrial networks. We have an immediate opening in our Electrical Engineering Department for an engineer seeking to implement state of the art control systems including hardware, software, and servo systems. The position requires working with customers, sales, and vendors to integrate these technologies into industrial products and solutions. Job Description: + Install and commission controls on equipment in the metal forming industry. This involves working with PLC's, HMI's, VFD's and other electrical components. + Collaborate with an engineering team to procure and build industrial controls. This includes maintaining CAD drawings and BOM while upholding design standards and build practices. + Provide advanced field service support during installation of custom integrated controls. + Interact with customers, design teams, and vendors to define scope, plans and product deliverables. + Continue to advance internal proficiencies while collaborating with other NP&A engineering groups to align products for a common look and feel. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, with experience, advanced study, or cooperative educational experience in a similar field beneficial. Or, associate's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering Technology with equivalent work experience. + Specific experience with PLC's, HMI's and servo controls in a manufacturing or factory automation setting. + Experience in object-oriented programming languages such as VB.net, WPF, C#, C++, or C would be a plus. + Familiarity with Microsoft suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, etc). + Able to interact and thrive in a dynamic team environment to achieve organizational goals. + Position requires 10% travel, some international.
