Actalent Engineering is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an engineering firm directly in Tysons, VA to design for large commercial buildings and data centers. This opportunity is hybrid with great continued growth potential and health and employee benefits, including stock in the company.

Candidate will have the ability to work form home 1-2 days per week as the role is design heavy but will require 10% travel around the US for site visits.

Responsibilities:

Prepare reportsCost estimatingSpecification developmentPerform calculationsSelect equipment for specificationPrepare construction documents for biddingDesign in both AutoCAD and RevitPerform site visitsManage project deadlinesInteract with clients and architects

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline2-6+ years of electrical engineering design experienceAbility to create MEP Electrical designs for building projects (lighting, power, short circuits, generator, single-line design, NEC codes, etc.)Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit softwareEIT Certification or PE License is preferredAbout Actalent
