copedersen @ actalentservices.comJob DescriptionCreate comprehensive circuit schematics for ADC and DAC circuits, optimizing for RF performance, space constraints, and manufacturability.Use LTspice and LTpowerCAD to simulate high current, low voltage power supplies.Work closely with digital design engineers, PCB designers, and firmware developers to integrate ADCs and DACs into advanced electronic systems.Prototype and validate designs through rigorous testing, debugging, and characterization using lab equipment and simulation tools.Ensure designs comply with industry standards and meet customer requirements.Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.Keep up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends in ADCs and DACs.Generate and maintain BOMs and assembly drawings to support procurement and manufacturing processes.Develop support documents such as user guides, datasheets, and test procedures.Required Skills and Qualifications: At least 5 years (10+ years preferred) of experience in electronic design, with a strong focus on ADCs and DACs.Experience in designing and implementing RF circuits (1-12GHz required, 12GHz+ desired).Proficiency in designing ADC and DAC circuits (up to 12GSPS), including signal conditioning.Expertise in designing ultra-low phase noise clock distribution circuits.Experience in power distribution system design and simulation.Proficiency in CAD tools for circuit design and simulation (e.g., Orcad, LTSPICE).Hands-on experience with lab equipment for testing and debugging analog and mixed-signal circuits.Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles, including signal integrity, noise reduction techniques, and layout considerations.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail
